In The CD Player: Gypsy Kings (again) - "Zorba The Greek"


Yeah, so I guess I slacked a little. I think I still do pretty well as a whole. Let's see...so we thought about practicing tonight but Jon is in the city visiting his brother. That's cool, cause now I get to go see fireworks at Oakbrook Terrace. It's kinda funny though cause I am actually anti-looking forward to the Fourth of July. No, no, no...I love America and all..it's just that I figure mine will be kinda crappy. First of all I can't stop thinking about Cornerstone, which is going on right now. I really wanted to go. Nobody else could make it though so I decided not to go by myself. So instead of hanging out with friends and listening to bands tomorrow I will end up cleaning and working to get ready for a party my parents are having. Then tomorrow night everyone is spending time with their respective girlfriend...so I will be bored like a mo fo. I didn't realize till this year that the 4th of July was such a romantic holiday. I guess it is though. haha.

OK enough complaining. I will work lots of extra hours and Friday and next week to make up for the week of work I am going to miss when I go to camp. In case you have no idea what I am talking about..Mike and I always spend a week as camp counselors in Michigan. It's a good time, so at least I have the to look forward to. We may even swing up to Canada for a day or two before we go to camp. That isn't confirmed though. OK, my mom is telling me to do stuff.
