Song in my head: Another Day - Future SHB
Well, I have dropped the Friday five already. Yesterdays questions were too hard. I didn't want to have to make decisions.
Anyway, yesterday I watched 2 hours of straight marketing tapes. Good times let me tell you. I just have to keep doing that so I can catch up in class. Last night I baby-sat the kids and then hung out with Mike. We didn't really do anything worth writing about.
Today we had band practice for the first time since Oktoberfest. Only Jon, Jay, and I could make it but it was one of the most productive practices we have had in a long time. So that's always good.
Tonight I play mini-golf. Last time I shot par. Tonight I will try to break that. Wish me luck.

...and thats another thing I dont like about bands. Drummers...well some drummers..they don't hit hard enough. Alex beats on his drums. He beats the crap out of them. It rocks. - Randy Torres - Project 86
Song: Project 86 - SMC
Friday. Hold on let me copy and past Jon's Friday five and then I will change the answers.
OK, he is slacking. I will wait till he's done and post later. Sorry, false alarm.

Song: Project 86 - Little Green Men
Ooooooot.
You will never catch me starting a blog like that but this special 2 in one day is deserving of it.
Today one of my favorite bands twothirtyeight released a new CD. Anyway, when I realized it was out I was talking to Jon. We joked about not buying CD's anymore since we can download most of the stuff. Well, I decided, what the heck - I am going to go and support the band and hear their new stuff. There have only been a few times in my life that I have been willing to purchase a CD without hearing any of it. Well, this is one of those times.
So, I jump in the car, blast the old 238 CD and speed off toward Best Buy. Well, guess what. They decided to only get two copies of it and they are sold out already. Oooot. So instead I end up buying the new Chevelle CD (also just came out today). Of course I have had all the songs from the new Chevelle since Brandon hooked me up almost 6 months ago. But what they hay, I was in a support the band mood. Also, it was only 5.99.
Then in the parking lot I remember Family Christian Stores. I don't shop there for CD's anymore cause they are expensive and their selection sucks...but I figured it would be worth a try. Also, it was on the way home. So, I race off and make it in the doors right before they close. Of course they don't have it either. They had one copy and sold it earlier. F. I was in there earlier buying a birthday present for my Mom. F. So then I see the new Project 86 (also out today) and I end up buying it. Luckily I knew the girl at the register and she gave me 20% off.
So in review, after much deliberation I decide that I will go out and buy a CD. An hour later I have bought two other CD's and I don't have the one I wanted.
Oooooot.
Oh yeah..and when I asked the guy at best buy about it this is how the conversation went:
Me: Excuse me, I am looking for a CD. The band is twothirtyeight.
Guy: OK...is that rap?
Me: ::blink:::blink:::....no.
Ooooooot. Do I look like someone that buys rap CDs? Maybe so.. F and Ooot.

Band: The Get Up Kids
Well, I don't really feel like blogging all that much...but I am on a roll today so what the heck.
First things first...I checked my blog out at school and I have only one word to describe it: Dungeon. Carol wasn't kidding. I guess it is a result of the screen settings (Brightness / contrast, etc.) and the resolution. Somehow it really made it look kinda evil. F. Lighten up your monitors people...my blog becomes much more friendly.
The Friday 5 has influenced me to start my own weekly ritual. I am going to try to make a Tuesday confession each week. For example..lets say I cried when I first watched Titanic. Well, that is something I would write. ( I didn't really...so stop laughing). So, tune in each week and find out the dirt on me that I just have to get off my chest.
Tuesday Confession: #1 - 6th Grade - A few days before Christmas
OK, every kid wants to know what he / she is getting for Christmas. Some of you were probably fortunate enough to know where your parents hid the gifts before Christmas. Well, somehow mine usually stayed one step ahead of me. So, picture me, a resourceful kid, home alone for an hour or so with roughly half the presents already under the tree. I think you all know where this is going...I grabbed mine and headed to my room. I carefully cut the tape and slid the wrapping off. After inspecting each one I carefully put the paper back on and re taped it. The only gift I remember out of the bunch was the first issue of a subscription to Runner's World (I was hardcore back then). It was a gift from my Aunt. I read half the magazine before putting it back. No one ever found out.
Well, thanks for reading. I now feel better having confessed to the world.
