In the CD Player: Jason Smith Solo...potential SHB songs
Sunday night I decided I wanted to change around my room. So I got rid of one thing..then cleaned something...before you know it I have my whole room torn apart. I am going through everything and getting rid of stuff. This is no easy task. I just entered my closet today. Anyway, I though it would be fun to post about some of the stuff I have found.
- Pictures - you name it..I found it. Freshman year school pictures, Mike Egan with blonde hair, mission trip pictures, etc., There are some really funny ones.
- A video tape with The Wonder Years episodes...Rock!
- A stash of notes, cards, etc., from Junior High - Freshman Year. I didn't read everything (there is probably about 100 things) but from what I did read...man, I was a pimp in Junior High. Seriously...I found probably 9-10 letters from girls asking me out or professing their love to me. I won't use any names (not that any of you would recognize them) but one letter said this.
David,
::Name:: and ::Name:: want to know if you will go out with them.
-
W.B.S. (write back soon)
Its funny cause not only was this girl asking me out for two girls at once, but I found another letter where she asked me out herself.
This is from the same girl...
David,
Will you go to the dance with me?
Yes / No
- WBS
The funniest part was that I must have shown one of my friends because under my "choices" someone wrote "hell no." I know it wasn't me cause I didn't talk / write like that. Humm..I think that is really funny. Maybe I am still immature. For you female readers don't worry...since I still have it that means I didn't give it back to her that way. I am not that much of a jerk.
I also found a few pictures of me in Junior High...what the heck were all these girls thinking? I was / am a funny looking kid. Maybe it was my personality. Haha.
- My Go Grandma Cards....most of you don't know what this is..but I was very excited when I found them. They have been missing for 2 or 3 years.
- A combined total of 20 or so decks of cards
- A bunch of event wrist bands - youth group events, breakaway, cornerstone, other concerts...even one from when I was in the hospital Junior year.
- Fish food...then two days later a fish net. I had a bunch of fish in 7th grade. I kept buying them and naming them after dogs (barkley, spot, Fido, etc.) and they kept floating to the top if you know what I mean. Maybe I should try again....
-An Enchanted Castle gift certificate for one free mini-pizza....expires 8/31/89
- Lots of certificates and stuff. I even have a Willowbrook HS "Humans Relations Award," I think this means they thought I was a nice person.
OK..I have to get back to work. I will post part 2 later if I find more cool stuff.

Song: Weezer - Jamie (live acoustic)
Well crap. First I dropped the Friday Five and now I am posting late for the Tuesday Confession. Well, it's after midnight but I am still awake...so it's still Tuesday for me.
OK..so I would say I didn't blow it yet.
Tuesday Confession # 2
The details on this one are vague. What it all boils down to though is the first time I remember lying to my Mom. I was probably five or six years old at the time. Something happened and I did it. She asked me about it and I said I didn't do it. She asked Isaac and he said he didn't do it. I did my best to make me look innocent and him guilty. I remember he didn't admit to it but got in trouble (spankings I think). I never fessed up....until today. Sorry Isaac.

In the CD Player: Twothirtyeight - Regulate the Chemicals CD
Currently looking forward to: Receiving the new twothirtyeight CD in the mail.
Not looking forward to: Homework, searching for a job, getting my car fixed
Humm..that is a pretty depressing opening. There are three time and cost consuming activities that I am not looking forward to and only getting a new CD to look forward to.
That's not really an accurate description of me right now. There is other stuff that I am looking forward to...that's just the thing I was thinking about when I started writing.
So anyway, I am tired. I haven't really done anything strenuous this weekend. It's more of a lack of sleep thing. Come to think of it..it is more then a lack of sleep thing. It's a "I have a lot to do and I don't want to do it" tired. I think it is a pretty common Sunday night feeling. Hummm..I am getting depressed just thinking about it.
I'll try to be more optimistic. Only five more days till Friday. Yeee haw.
