You know who is wacky? Mike is wacky. Here is a quote from his blog (just so you know what you are missing if you don't read it).
"OK, well jason just got in bed,
so now it's time for me to stare at him for a little while.
That's how i get my jollies these days.
Jeeze, I'm a weird kid."
Anyway...I don't really have anything interesting to say right now. I just felt I should blog. I am still working on a basic design for that company's website. Next week I should be meeting with them. The plan is to persuade them to let me completely redo their site from scratch instead of just patching it up. Wish me luck on that. If it goes through not only will they have a much better site...but I will have more work - > $$.
Until all that kicks in though I will be downtown doing hard labor (kind of) at McCormick Place. They need us twice this week. It is just the type of job I am going to school to avoid having for the rest of my life. However, it helps pay the bills now....so I guess I can't complain.
Humm..this blog was boring. Sorry.

Ever stop for a second and think about what you are doing? Ever think it is pretty funny when you do? I just had one of these moments. I was on the Internet and suddenly I realized..."Hey, I am surfing seventeen.com." You know, like 17 magazine. Yeah..their website isn't bad.
Hold on a sec..don't go harass me in my guestbook yet. I can explain. I am currently working on a redesign for a website who's target market is the same age girls as those that read magazines like 17 and YM. So, I was at those sites for purely research.
I don't know why I always feel the need to incriminate myself.
OK, I am getting back to work....

So you know what is weird? Finding out that people you don't know that well read your blog. It's mostly weird because when I write I envision the people I know that read it doing so. Overall though I don't really mind. To date I know of about 15 or 16 people that read this. That's not counting random girls that surf in off the Internet either. (read the guestbook if you don't know what I am talking about).
Anyway, I have had a bunch going on lately. I am really trying to get my academic act back together. It's no secret that I slacked off on my independent study classes at the beginning of the quarter. So, now I am working hard to catch up. That's good though right? I mean, I could always give up and drop them instead.
Steve told me on Sunday I was just as much of a geek as he was...just with other things then Star Wars, video games, and role playing. I asked him to list my geeky interests. He said: "You use your computer a lot." I agreed with him and put a finger signifying one thing. Then I asked what else. He paused for about 10 seconds and then said. "I don't know, you just have a geek like nature." I don't accept that answer. I am a geek about somethings..that's true. I build websites :::pushes glasses further up on nose::: but does that really qualify me for a "geek like nature"?
Best quote in response to my hiku from Saturday: "Dave writes poetry in his online diary." I think that's pretty funny. But seriously..it's a "journal"...a JOURNAL dangit! haha.
It's Tuesday. You know what that means. Well..maybe you do. Maybe you haven't caught on yet. Either way..here it is:
Tuesday Confession # 4
No long story this week. All I have is a simple confession. For the past 6 years or so whenever my mother has had me sweep our utility room...everything goes right under the washer and dryer. What's the difference...it's out of the way? Who has time for a dust pan anyway?
OK..I'm going to put the finishing touches on my marketing paper, complete some biology labs, and then go take a unit test.
