In The CD Player: Plankeye - The one and only

Today is one of those productive days where you get a lot done. I have been kicking butt at work. I think I am going to work an extra hour or two while I am on a roll. I hope the productiveness carries over to homework when I get home. The plan is to finish typing a paper and then go play some cards at NPU.

Ok. confession time.

Tuesday Confession # 8

I don't remember how many people I told about this when it happened..but I know I never told my parents. Anyway, I was 16 and it was the day after I got my license. It was spring break so my plan for the day was to just drive. I didn't care where. So, I was going everywhere I needed to go and some places just for fun. Back then my dad made me learn how to drive on his 1986 Stick shift Ford F150. It had a cap on the back to so I only had side mirrors. So yeah, thats is what I was driving.
Anyway, so its like 11:00 AM and I pull into the Wal-mart Parking lot. That place is always crowded like a mo fo. So, I drive down an isle and find an open spot about three from the front. Well, I guess I didn't have the whole angles down for a pick up truck yet because it took me a few tries to get into to the spot. Finally I shut off th engine and get out. A lady comes around from the passenger side and informs me that I had just scratched her car. F. I look and sure enough there was a little red paint on the side of her car. I didn't even know I did it. So she had me give her information and tells me she will show her husband and see what he wants to do. So..I gave her a fake name, address, and phone number.

No, I am just kidding. But I seriously, I did think about it. I gave her the info and just prayed she wouldn't do anything about it. I was pretty worried every time the phone rang the next day or two. Thankfully though, she never did and my parents never found out.

OK, so I am standing in line at the grocery store right? I have exactly two items and therefore I am rightly in the 12 items or less "express" lane. However, I guess 12 or less items is only a suggestion because the older lady in front of me didn't pay any attention to it. She had about 7 different vegetables and then 18 or so bags of crushed walnuts. I think she figured she had less than 12 different items, so it was OK. Ugh. Old ladies are supposed to follow the rules. It is supposed to be the young rebellious type that sneaks an extra item or two into the express lane.

Anyway, my sister, niece, and nephew came into town today. Wanna see some pictures? Better just check them out in the album so the quality doesn't drop. Go Here.

More tomorrow.
