Song: American Standard - Every Day Life

Well, I am late again. I had intended to be on time..I just went out and did other stuff instead. To make up for it I will not only post my confession for the week but also add a Christmas media update.

Last night Kristin came over along with Olivia and her boyfriend Brandon. My Mom fed us dinner and then we went downtown for a little city ice skating.

After skating we walked around a little downtown. My personal highlight of that time was Olivia riding a bull on the street.

Today I got up and finished my Christmas shopping. I also figured out a new stellar way to wrap gifts. Aluminum Foil. Oh yeah. It's so fast. No cutting, no tape...just tear off a piece and fold it around the gift. Observe:

Tonight it started snowing. So, after our Christmas Eve service at church Mike and I got in my car

and did doughnuts in empty parking lots. Make sure to check out that video..it's pretty sweet.

OK, now for a confession.

Tuesday Confession # 12
Not to long ago I was asked what my most embarrassing moment was. At the time I couldn't think of anything. Since then however I remembered this. I don't know if this is the MOST embarrassing, but it ranks pretty high. Anyway, I was in 6th grade and attended Jefferson Junior High School. It is about half mile or so from my house and every morning I would ride my bike to school. This was all good and fine until winter. There is nothing worse then riding your bike in 0 degrees weather. Just picture it.. shivering, cold, wind in my face..it sucked. OK, so one really freaking cold morning I was riding my bike to school. I was going down this stretch of about a block and a half and I was going straight into the wind. So needless to say I would look where I was going and then put my head down and just watch my tire and the road around it so I didn't crash. Well, I had my head tucked, I was pedaling, trying to get to school on time when all of the sudden BAM.... I nailed the back of a parked car and fell of my bike. I wasn't the hurt and my first response was to worry about the car. Well, to make things worse the car's owners, a middle aged man and women, were just waking out of their apartment in time to see what happened. The car was fine and they just asked me if I was okay as they tried not to laugh. Man..talk about a blow to the fragile self esteem of a junior high student.
