Song: 25 or 6 to 4 - Chicago

Well, I am taking off for the weekend. My family is making a whirlwind trip down to South Carolina for a memorial service. Loads of fun...

Random Thought:
You know what's funny? The difference between getting pissed off and getting pissed on, and the difference between getting knocked down and knocked up.

Random Thoughts on My Clothes:

1) The type of clothes I am wearing will often influence my mood. For instance, I will be more goofy when I am in a thrift store T-shirt then when I am wearing a collared shirt.
2) If the outfit I am wearing is one of my favorites I naturally feel more confident and therefore will usually have a better day.
3) My selection of favorite clothes changes with time. That's actually kind of irrational (unless they become worn or I grow out of them) because I still look the same in them every time I wear them.
4) Sometimes I have "sacrifice" days where I wear clothes that I view as so-so..in order to save my favorite clothes for days where I have a lot going on.
5) I used to only wear khakis because I thought they were more comfortable. Now I only wear khakis because that's "my thing."

Am I alone on all this? Well, probably number 5..but does anyone else relate to 1-4?

Song: Close To Home - The Get Up Kids

Yesterday I walked by this guy at school and clearly detected the smell of Elmer's glue.

I am at a hair crossroads. I didn't really mind the new style, but I have been having a hard time making it look like it did when it was first done. In addition, I have decided to stop using that pomade wax junk I have for it. I just feel gross when I use it. So anyway, I am currently experimenting with different products and styles. Whatever I end up with though, it probably will be pretty close to my old style. Oh well.

Midweek Flashback # 8

Speaking of hair.....One summer when I was younger (between 6th and 7th grade I believe) my sister Julie braided my hair into a bunch of tentacles. It was kind of a white mans dreadlocks. Anyway, I thought they were kinda cool, but my Mom wouldn't take me anywhere in public until I took them out. Needless to say they only lasted a few days.
