Song: El Scorcho - Weezer

Well crap. Here it is, Thursday again, and I don't have any pictures ready for a flashback. Oh well.

Midweek Flashback # 12

When I was a kid my top two profession choices were actor and policeman. I remember taking an acting class at Iowa Community Center when I was 7 or 8. It was pretty lame. Still, I don't exactly remember when I decided not to pursue acting. Maybe it was when I realized it was one of those shoot for the moon and probably fail jobs (i.e. professional athlete). Maybe it was when I realized it's hard to become a famous actor when you are against using swear words. Maybe it was when I realized I'm not all that good. Who knows? As for being a policeman, I think I disregarded that when I realized that not only do drivers everywhere hate them, but they don't make too much money. So much for childhood dreams huh?

Song: Modern Day Prayer - Twothirtyeight

I found out yesterday that one of my favorite bands, twothirtyeight, is breaking up. Unfortunately they won't be coming to Chicago again before they do. They are however playing in Rochester, MI on Friday night. I think Mike and I might drive 5 hours up there and see them. If we do, we will crash in Windsor Canada (30 min further) for the night and come home Saturday. Should be a good time. Maybe I will find interesting things to add to my other blog on the trip....

Song: Turning Japanese - The Vapors

My yearly battle with ants is starting. I have started to find a few in my room. Ugh. I hate them so much.

"Die little ant, I want you to die little ant."

Anyway, I have posted links to my two brand new sites in the last posts. I would love to get some feedback on them in my guestbook. So far I have only heard from Erin..and she called me a "crack head."
