Amusing Phone Stories:

1) Last week at almost 10:00pm I called the Mike's house to get someone's phone number. His mom gave me her cell phone number, I thanked her, and then hung up. I dialed the number.
"Hello"
"Hello, is Wanda there?"
"Wanda? No, this is Amvet." - here I am thinking this is some sort of joke because I know I dialed right.
"Excuse me?"
"Yeah, we have you scheduled for a pick up tomorrow. Are you going to have anything?"
"Ummm. " - Now I am confused...I mean..who called who?
"Well, are you going to have anything? Who is this?"
"...This is David. Ummm..I'm sorry. Who is this again?"
"Amvet. American Veterans. You are scheduled for a pick up tomorrow..are you going to have anything?"
"........."
"Well?"
"...Umm....no. I don't think so."
"Who is this?"
"......."
"Fine if you aren't going to tell me I will just have to look it up."
"OK..bye."

So, then I called Mrs. Egan back and she double checked the number. Then I found out she was reading it off the caller ID and although it didn't have a name by it she knew the number I was looking for started with 202 and that was the only one on the caller ID like that. So, I guess I did call AmVet. I don't know..it was just a really puzzling conversation.

Song: I Am Missing - Dashboard Confessional

Jon had me download the new Dashboard CD..it is currently rocking my socks.

OK..so I ended up putting out traps but the mouse didn't go for the yummy Tootsie Roll I had in there for him. The worst part is that I didn't know if it was in my closet or back in the wall somewhere. Thankfully Kristin helped (OK, she pretty much did it all) me go through my closet and see it was there. Thankfully it wasn't so we closed off the hole. Hopefully that will work for a while.

This weekend work was very profitable. That's always a good thing.

Other than that..same old, same old.
