Song: I'll Catch You - The Get Up Kids

Well, that was fun. I was a celebrity for the day. Thanks to everyone that called, IM'ed, comment boarded, and e-mailed me his or her congratulations. It meant a lot to hear from you all.

As a whole, everyone has been taking it pretty well. I wasn't sure how it would go over since it came out of the blue (well at least from most people's perspective). But I would say most people seems to be pretty excited about it.

Right now we are looking at February or the beginning of March. If however that doesn't work it will just get pushed back to later in the spring or early summer.

I guess now is when a crap load of planning starts for the wedding. We decided that Kristin has the main artistic control over everything, but I have VETO power that I can use if I want. As someone that has never been a part of planning a wedding before I'll try to keep you updated as I find out what it's all about.

OK, finally..a few pictures... (careful they are sappier then usual)

Song: Star, Star - The Frames

::deep breath:: OK..so..I'm engaged. I'm sure some of you are shocked like a mo. On the other hand I'm sure some of you saw it coming a mile away. Either way...it's done and we are both very happy about it.

I'm a guy.. so if you are looking for any details on how I did it, the ring, etc., I suggest you ask Kristin. If you don't see her regularly I'm sure she would answer any question on the comment box for you.

I'll pass on more details (dates and such) when they are settled.

Oh, and for those of you disgusted with the new picture..don't worry..I'll change it in a few days.

Song: Wait For You - Tammany Hall NYC

Ooot. It looks as if the comment box is having problems again. Hopefully it will fix itself soon though. Then you can all leave me notes.

After much dragging of feet it looks like I will actually start the new job on Monday or Tuesday of next week. To prepare for that I have been rushing around this week taking care of everything I can think of that I won't have time to do when everything starts rolling. I have had some pretty productive days. Right now for instance, I am off to run an errand and then going for a run.

Song: Cross My Heart - The Rocket Summer

Whoops, I guess if I expect any sort of future with Kristin I should learn how to spell her hometown correctly.

Nice job Pat. I resisted but finally gave in. I have to admit though..it is definitely handy to have.

I have been making a bunch of money lately...and I am about to start my new job too. I have more than double saved right now then I have ever had. However, whenever I begin raking it in I go on a shopping spree. Remember my chair and my camera...that was last time. I currently have my eye on some expensive stuff...we will just see how long I hold out.

Is it sad that I get real excited when my phone rings? Probably.

Song: Stars Are Underground - The Frames

I think I am the last person to join the revolution. I am finally convinced it's not a passing craze.
I got a cell phone today.

Song: The Pros and Cons of Breathing - Fall Out Boy

Thursday Kristin and I went out to Savannah to visit her parents for a day or so. Nothing too eventful on that trip. I got a nice tan on one of my arms while driving though.

Work this weekend was a little slower than the last few weeks..but still good.

Yep. I have received a lot of hits on this site the past week. Leave me a comment when you visit. Good deal.
