In The CD Player: The Get Up Kids "Red Letter Day"
My weekend has started. Ohh yeah. Umm. I got DSL last night. That's kind of cool because now I can do stuff much faster. Last night I downloaded Dumb and Dumber.
"Austria? Well, Gooday mate. Let's put another shrimp on the bobbie!"
Anyway, last night Jon and I worked on some band graphic design stuff. Both the new site and the potential CD covers. Then we went out on a quest for some good pictures.
I don't think we got what we were looking for, but we ended up with some funny ones. We stopped at the new Safari Land on North Ave. Just see for yourself...
(I had pictures hosted in here..they were funny)
Yeah so...
In other news..everyone is leaving for college this week. It's kinda sad. On the other hand, it will be fun to visit people again.
Props to Jon and Anna for being the only known people that read my blog. Humm..that means since Jon has seen these pictures that I am only posting them for Anna. Well Anna..enjoy.

Recently I have been thinking about the difference between me one year ago and me now. Here are some noteworthy changes:
Income: A year ago I had just been fired from my part time job at DeVry. Consequently, I lived by playing poker a few times a week. Now, I am about to start at a DeVry company again but now as full time. Currently I live by working valet a few times a week.
Significant Other Status: A year ago...single all the way. Now...geepers, I'm engaged.
Time, energy, and money: A year ago I spent this stuff on Second Hand Bicycle. Now I am investing in something a little more worthwhile (Kristin).
Music: A year ago I was heavy into the Get Up Kids and Roy G. Biv. I still like them, but now I not only like that type of music, but also some jazz, acoustic, and Sinatra style too.
Food: A year ago I ate out often at Wendy's and KFC. Now I frequent Arby's and Subway.
Future: A year ago I didn't know what I would do after COD. Now I have plans and goals for the next 5 years or so.
Yeah, so I guess it's true. "Time's change, people change." But hey, I would like to think that I am better off with the new and improved me...so that's good. OK, time for bed.

Song: Just Let Me - Roy G. Biv
You know what sucks? This comment board server. It keeps having problems. Ugh.
OK, I know I have mentioned it a few times, but now I have a definite date...I OFFICIALLY start work at Becker on Monday. I would enjoy my last few days of freedom, but I am working valet tonight, Friday, and Saturday. Oh well.
SecondHandBicycle.net will be gone in a week or so. It's kind of sad that the band ceased to be only a few months after I built the site. Anyway, since I will be in need of hosting space I will be registering a new domain name and building a new site for it. My blog will get transferred there when I finish.
Newman, Mike, and Isaac were thinking of new words and phrases they could copyright. I have one.
Post Toll Anxiety - Paranoia felt during the waiting time that occurs after you throw your money in and before the gate opens.
Anyone else get this? It happens to me all the time. The time is just long enough for me to start thinking: "Crap. What if I miscounted. What if part of the money bounced out or got stuck somewhere. F. Where is more change? I have to get out more change..." I am usually just about ready to dump in another 50 cents to be sure when the gate opens and I drive away relieved.
I need an IPASS.

CD: Chevelle - Point # 1
Thanks to: Eric, Joe, Pat, Heidi, Chelsea, and Erin.
Jason: Good point...
Pat: I tried both of your links and neither of them work for me. Thanks for the effort though (whatever it is).
As you can see, I changed the top picture again. I know, I know...it's still sappy. Give it a few days and I'll change it again.
The wedding planning has begun. There is a whole lot of stuff to worry about..lots of little stuff you don't think about until you are actually setting up a wedding. For instance..what kind of tables do you want at the reception? Standard circular, rectangular, or long banquet style? I am glad Kristin is in charge of most of it.
I get to plan the honeymoon though..so that's kind of fun. It is going to be a surprise for her (Wisconsin Dells?..Shhhhh) so I have to go back to doing things secretly.
I haven't done any photography in the past couple of weeks so it felt good to go out and get some shots of a building I thought would be cool. It was a good time because it's abandoned and I had to jump a fence to get the pictures.
Two new ones:
